We have two gites here at Les Chapelles, both created through the renovation of a number of ancient buildings. The largest, Le Cadran Solaire, sleeps six people in three big bedrooms, two with double beds and one with twin beds. Le Cadran Solaire has a large lounge, kitchen, upstairs bathroom and downstairs shower room. There’s a pretty terrace and private garden over looking the rest of the grounds. You can find a floorplan of Le Cadran Solaire here and photographs here.
Our second gite, La Cachette, is hidden away on the first floor of a large old barn. In fact, it got its name from it position: La Cachette literally translates as ‘the hiding place’. La Cachette sleeps four in two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with twin beds. There is a kitchen, large sitting room and shower room and a lovely secluded terrace for eating outside. Pictures of La Cachette can be found here, and a floorplan here.
In addition to the old outbuildings which have been converted to the gites, we have a more recently built one, the swimming pool! A local architect design the building which houses our pool, and it’s a great place to cool off in the summer or take some exercise when the weather’s less good. Take a look at some pictures here.
We’ve tried to equip the gites with everything needed for an enjoyable and relaxing holiday. Both gites have dishwashers, washing machines, microwave ovens, coffee machines, satellite TVs, DVD players, barbecues…the list goes on. With children ourselves, we’re also well geared up for babies and toddlers and can provide most kit required, from sterilisers to cots to baby baths to high chairs. If you have any specific requests, just drop us a line…we’ve probably got it.
